I enjoy cross stitching from time to time, and this project worked on 32 count brown sugar linen has been around for a few years now. I tend to get it out around Christmas time and work a bit more and the it sits back in it's basket for a while longer. This year I'm pleased to say I have almost finished the goose girl and started on the geese and chickens about her feet. The pattern is Butternut road and is called feathers and friends.

  1. Claire,
It was so good to hear from you today via e-mail--I so enjoyed reading your pleasant note and hearing what you've been doing recently. And, I was especially happy to hear you have started a blog!
    I will e-mail you soon,

  2. That is really beautiful!! I love cross stitch but rarely do it anymore, it seems that I'm always knitting instead.

ps. I'm very envious that you have a castle practically in your backyard!! ; )
